Warmoth Guitars
Do you guys have any experience with Warmoth guitars? Thought about selling off one of my Les Pauls to fund a build that will be a little more comfortable on my wrist since having carpal tunnel surgery. I saw where the Tele bodies are available with a contour for your picking arm. That has me excited because I felt that was the only thing needed to make my 72 Deluxe reissues the perfect guitar.

I've gotten a few of their necks before, and I've always loved them. Great quality. I've never had any of their bodies before but I've heard equally good things

What thickness necks do you go with?

Their Standard thin is really comfortable for me, but I really hate chunky necks. The profile of them is indeed thin, I'd kind of compare it to a Peavey T60 but not quite a shredder neck. I have, however played one of their boat necks on a strat that a friend put together and it was nice too

Love their necks- got one on a Schecter tele-style now. I grew up a few blocks from their original shop- Jerry Cantrell worked there and would sometimes sell "seconds" out of his shitty apartment, back when AIC was still an embarrassing glam band known as Diamond Lie. Fuckin' dorks

Re: Warmoth Guitars
I have a compound 10-16 warmoth rosewood/maple back neck on my us partcaster. It is now my favorite guitar even if it doesn't have a sticker on the headstock. It levels out and flatens around the 12th fret but the lower frets are still fat like a tele (not quite strat baseball bat thickness). I love it!
I can't comment on their bodies, but if I were putting a new guitar together I would seriously consider them

I do not have any experience yet but my girlfriend just bought me a telemaster body and I followed up by buying a reverse tele neck with a "boat" neck. The boat neck is supposed be like a 52 tele neck. Once I get it all in I can tell you how it is.

That's fucking awesome.

Yeah, I've been keen on hearing real reports about their necks as well.

I've got birdseye maple w/ ebony board, huge frets, D-shape. Amazing neck- eventually, I'm gonna put it on a different body than the current one

I've got a Wenge Warmoth neck that I used to finish a build. Love it to death and it works really well with the ysterhout that the body's made from. Do expect to do a fretjob on them though.
Here's some pics.

Thanks man! It's not great for bringing the DOOMS but with the piezo in the bridge it is a great allround guitar.
