Custom boards

Post by foomanfat »

Does anyone make custom boards, a la Salvage, that aren't prohibitively expensive?
Really into the idea of having power under the board with a switch on the side and jacks and dope looks.

Salvage stuff is so killer, love the suitcase design. The recent limited edition "Lost At Sea" board is easily one of the coolest boards I've ever seen. Prices are quite prohibitive though. :(

There's always Blackbird.

I just saw another suitcase-style board on TGP that wasn't Salvage, looked very nice but I can't remember the company who makes it. I'll research...
EDIT: It's Helweg. Not sure on pricing tho...

There is Sig Custom, who makes boards kind of in the style of Salvage.

Also, the dude who makes my cabs, B Custom, has been working on a prototype pedalboard. I'll have to get you in contact with him :thumb:

My power fits under my pt-pro, of course. I made an interface in a Hammond case with locking jacks for in and out to the board and an output buffer. Bought a flanged box and strapped it with cable ties to the underside of the pedal train. Works awesome.

Those Helweg look sick! I like that the bottom panel is easily accessible.
Skully: I would def be interested in what your cab dude is cooking up.

Ooo, I wonder who did it first, Helweg or Tone Snob?
