A possibly stupid question about vibrato

Post by DarkAxel »

Hey dudes, so

My Digitech PDS 20/20 can do cool vibrato in both chorus or flanger mode (i especially like it for almost tape-like slight modulation). However, because it is basically a very short delay and the idea is that it's turned to full wet, when I turn the pedal off, there is a short hiccup.

Do all vibrato pedals do this? is that something i need to accept or is it a design flaw?

clip here (not the pause, but the vibrato itself for possible appreciation)
I make pedal demos as East Stomp Boutique - http://www.youtube.com/c/eaststompboutique
