So should a person find a used Mastotron or buy a new Fuzzolo? Seems like the tones are pretty good but are people interested in it because it's a new pedal or because it offers a different sound or because it's small?

That's a good question. I'm seeing a price of $130 on this, but isn't the Mastortron only $150? I like how versatile it sounds for how simple the design is, but you're losing a lot of potentially useful features (treble, sub) the Mastortron has for not that much in savings.

That thing sounds pretty great, gotta say.

Is this a small version of the Mastotron?

Sounds great, it's tiny and it's got a picture of a snorting buffalo on it. What's not to want?
I actually like fuzz pedals with stripped-down controls, and while the "Pulse Width" control is the same as the Mastotron I'm not sure it's exactly the same circuit (although it might be - a couple of reports say it's "based around" the Wooly Mammoth and Mastotron). sounds akin to a Big John Music Lil' John fuzz

I like it. It's splatty, synthy and it seems fairly easy to dial in a Velcro fuzz which is something I've been looking for. Def pulling the trigger if cash permits.

All the namm zvex stuff is interesting to me, especially the bigger more knob having fuzz factory.
