This guy's got you covered right here: http://wilsoneffects.com/WahPedals.html

I've heard that he's also really helpful about helping customers figure out which wah is best for them...

I've heard a lot of good things about the Wilson ones but never tried one. When I went on my wah quest I read every thread on here about them and the Wilson ones kept being mentioned....

Honestly my advice is twofold - part one: stay away from the Crybaby 535q - they're built like shit and the pots never last. Mine was a piece of fucking garbage. With a wah I think simple is better.

Part two: I recently bought a Budda wah (purple wah, purple label) and it RULES. Great sound, cuts through the mix, sounds great with fuzz, I use a wah more like a filter at the end of my chain but it sounds great with fuzz, delay, reverb.... couldn't be happier!! And the guy who I traded with on craigslist had modded it with a led when engaged.... man honest to christ the newer, silver one is the ugliest wah I've ever seen. It looks like the terminators dick.....

I haven't tried them yet, but the already mentioned AMT and Wilson stuff seem to be the best way to go. Certainly the two that interest me most, and get recommended the most.

I don't like wahs, but I do like the Xerograph Deluxe, which can be turned into a wah-of-sorts. Same with the MF Drive.

CAE dual fasel has two frequency range settings, along with a variable boost. Zvex probe wah is next level wah.

WILSON

Seriously, he makes so many awesome wahs, and they all have really different voices. His 12-position wahs are capable of a ridiculous range of tones. And they have LEDs to tell you when it's on, which I don't get why all wahs don't have this.

I ended up getting the Wilson Freaker wah, which is the Tycobrahe clone and it has a 5-position knob that controls the frequency range, and a voice knob which controls how wide the bandpass is. It's my favorite wah I've ever tried.

I like the Morley Bad Horsie. It works awesome with distortion. And it's switchless.

Of the switched wahs I've tried Wilson rules.
