hey everyone, looking for some help/advice on what to do
my friend and I both have JCM 900 mkiii (2500 series) heads
he runs his fx loop all the time and it's pretty nutty what he's got going on in it.
im trying to figure out if there's a footswitch out there somewhere that can activate the loop on this head, or would i need mod
my amp? i've been looking for concrete answers all day and haven't had any luck.
anyone else have experience with this?

This will be of likely no help but my guitarist has a JCM 800 with a "loop" and all it is a a splice between the pre and the power amp sections is the 900 different?

Re: Marshall JCM 900 FX Loop
yeah since the 900 has the master volume per channel.
the channel switch i have works for the B/A channels but no loop.
at the moment, if i have the loop wired up, it's always on.
so I need to figure out what footswitch would activate it, or am i stuck?

east non mod solution; put everything in your fx loop in a true bypass loop. just click the loop on whenever u want to use your fx loop. tb loops can be hand on the super cheapz
