Ian, you are in for super super fun times. My second Elements is somewhere between Singapore and Sweden. Hopefully closer to Sweden than Singapore...
COME ON POST DUDES HURRY UP!
Totally keep eyeballing your BST thread as well. I'm just going to pretend it doesn't exist.
edit: me fail geography.

Congrats. The newest version of the Cosmichorus is my favorite chorus pedal of all time.

BCBC, you'll have to do a bass demo. I'm no bassist but I'm pretty sure you could dial in some raucous Mötorhead tones...
Cosmi is also rad! So many sounds - I could easily use two of them as well...

Aw shucks, thanks guys! I hope y'all dig 'em when they arrive! And I hope you get grounded ones, Matt and BC! *smile* I meant to email you the instructions for that procedure, sorry Matt.. did it arrive yet and does it need the treatment?
I really love 80s guitar and synth sounds too, they rule.. reverb in the 80s ruled too..

It arrived in Sweden on the 3rd, but the customs guys were out having coffee. Should turn up on Monday I'd guess.

Re: Premature thread of excitement
So how come you need two of those anyway, whatcha got planned? Separate board? Do you ever use your mix knob or just leave it dimed? (just asking because the oldest Elements, back with the grounding problem, they also have their high gain signal out of phase with the dry signal so they don't blend as nicely as the new ones with both signals in phase)

Re: Premature thread of excitement
I really like the low gain sounds! Sometimes we'll bust out some Guns n Roses covers just me and the other guitarist in the band and asymmetric clipping lower gain, 800hz mids... good times! And the really low gain stuff, where you get a bit of grit when you really hit the strings, that's nice too. The high gain is of course my main sound. So I figured I'd just pick up another and be able to switch back and forth live. Was going to hit you up when Jordan had a black Elements for sale, and the metal half of my brain has always wondered what it would be like with such a BLACK pedal on my board. Although it's going to be used exclusively in low gain mode, which is kind of odd given that IT'S SO BLACK!
They'll be in two separate "channels" so they're paths won't ever cross, so the phase problem won't be a problem. At such low gain I might not even need to ground it. We'll see.

Re: Premature thread of excitement
Right on, if you're gonna use it exclusively in low gain mode then the mix is in phase and you'll be all set.. and you're right, in low gain mode even without the ground fix you might not hear any hum at all. It's weird, the ground fix makes no difference to hum for me in high gain mode either.. I'm in a fairly new house with very clean electrical and I guess it's enough of a difference to not really show off how bad that hum can be.. so it might be for you either! That's my excuse for not noticing that ground situation for the first ~150 pedals.. I didn't have the hum to begin with.
Looking forward to seeing/hearing your new setup!

Shit just got real
Pics and report tomorrow, time allowing
First impressions Ryan and Tanya kick ass at making pedals...!
Most lovely boxes and finishes/ graphics I've experienced. Plus, girls love the sparkly powder coat
Sweet tee and picks and stickers, too.
I'm so not worthy.

Re: Premature thread of excitement
Here's the Elements I just got this week. I got to try it at practice, and it's already been velcro'd and claimed it's place on my gigging pedalboard.
