BYOC come with full step by step instructions, predrilled enclosures etc. Maybe do one of those to cut your teeth then move onto something like this http://pedalparts.co.uk/mosrite-fuzzrite/ ?

If you build the BazzFuss, I highly recommend the deluxe version. Adds a gain and input control. Makes for even more fuzzy goodness.

I have a bazz fuss pcb I could let go of if you can't find one.

Here are some good sources for other kits/pcbs though...

I might take you up on that, there doesnt seem to be many kits for the BazzFuss. I figured it was a good place to start since i like how they sound and seem to be the simpilest pedal ever.

Yea, I noticed that. That first link, Synthrotek, had them but it looks as if they stopped.
Just let me know where to send that pcb, it's all yours.

A Bazz Fuss is a great starting point. Easy circuit that shows how a basic fuzz can function. I'd recommend building the basic model first, then expanding it, as it will help you learn what does what in the circuit.

I just recently sent him a bazz fuss kit, with enough stuff to do the basic 1knobber or the deluxe version :thumb:

Good man! I've missed seeing those kinds of good deeds since I've been hanging out here less. I'll just have to change that.
