Sunn Beta Lead speakers

Hey all. I have a Sunn Beta Lead 2x12 combo amp. And well, it sounds like the speakers are fried. There is no visible damage but it is impossible to get a clean sound at loud volume. I've plugged it into other cabs and the problem goes away.

Any recommendations for a replacement that will sound close to the original speaker? I don't know anything about speaker brands or styles so I am pretty useless picking one out. The ones in their right now are unbranded and have colossal square magnets on them.

Alternatively, if there is something else that could possibly be wrong with the cabinet that I'm not thinking of let me know.

Press on all the panels one at a time, if one of the bits of the cabinetry has come loose it can cause a buzzing sound similar to a bad speaker. Pressing on them can alleviate the issue temporarily and will tell you which part is loose. A little ca glue and some clamps can fix it quickly and cheaply.

i actually have 3 good ones of those speakers incase you want oem parts. if not slap some emis in there and fucking wail

Thanks for the tip. I tried it out but unfortunately I was not able to alleviate the problem.

How much would you want for those Sunn speakers? If it does turn out that I need to replace my speakers I might be interested.
