I got this peavey reverb coming and was confused about the power it needed.
I was lucky to find a scan of the manual in the peavey forum and it says you need AC power. They guy who scanned it said up to 300 ma:

There is a guy selling another one on ebay and I can clearly see the adaptor if you zoom on the pic.

It reads as 120 ac in at the mains and the pedal needs 200ma dc.
So that means I can use the cioks dc10? I am based in the UK so will need a 3rd party adaptor if not.
I guess it depends on the positive or negative plug but in principle is that right?
I do not want to plug it in a cause a problem with the pedal.

Your good man, power supply reads 9V DC 200mA, which you can run easily from the CIOKS DC10 if you utilize the 200mA or 400mA outs. However, it looks like that plug barrel is center positive. If so, you'll need to get the proper adapter cable from CIOKS, then all good.

Thank you kind sir. As I thought. I have an adaptor for my Rat so that should do the job. Looking forward to it arriving in a couple of days.Holy Schnikes wrote:Your good man, power supply reads 9V DC 200mA, which you can run easily from the CIOKS DC10 if you utilize the 200mA or 400mA outs. Re: Power adaptor for peavey pedal
Arrived this morning in the post. Cleaned it up as it was a bit grubby, plugged it in and there is some problem with it. Took care to plug it in correctly then I pushed the foot switch and just got high pitch wailing and it sounds like a fuzz pedal not a reverb. I imagine it is quite a complex pedal to repair so I will have to return for a refund. What a waste of time shipping a broken item from the states to the UK. It may be transit but its built like a tank so and I can only assume that the seller did not check it worked properly before selling it.Holy Schnikes wrote:No problem, happy to help!
