Couldn't decide on my first SMBS

Post by Butch1970 »

So.......

I bought 2 :animal:

I couldn't decide on the Mini or the TAFM. Been jonesing for a Mini for a while but was looking for a fuzz that would kill on both Bass and Guitar, so I ordered the Purple TAFM from Brian......and then had to go back for the top-mounted Mini. I figured that if I was gonna stack 'em, might as well go top-mount on both.

Did I do good?

Thanks, Dudes!

I've got pretty high hopes for these pedz individually. That they'll stack nicely is a plus. That they'll be equally awesome on either guitar or bass is a super bonus. Also curious how they might interact with other dirt.

yeah butch you're doing it right. :animal:

they're great together! personally i use a TAFM > fuck (but insert mini here instead for you) on my main board. the fuck/mini to smooth out and thicken the fuzz even more and boost it for hugeness. :!!!:

Cool, Brian!

The pedz just came in the mail this week (Thanks :) so I've only had a chance to try them out individually thus far. The Mini definitely has some girth, so I can see why guys say they leave it on all the time. I had been running OD > Fuzz prior (EQD Crimson Drive > Dream Crusher) so I'll def have to try the flip with the Mini and TAFM.

Do you run a Mini towards the end of your signal chain along with the TAFM/Fuck combo?
