Good, Loud, Small Bass Cabs

Post by WeHuntKings »

I need a new cab that doesn't suck. Like, 1x15s and 4x10s. Around 400$ at most.

This is relevant to my interestsss. I want more small cabs to stack.
I bought this used Ashdown 1x15 for $120. Doesn't have the highest db rating, but it has done me good so far.

They aren't the best ever but they are great for the price, Avatar.

I have a new Acoustic 1x15 that's surprisingly loud and full. It seems to be good value.

I'll second the Avatar recommendation. Avatar is really really good bang-for-the-buck.

Also, I still lean on my Carvin 410, it has beaten out some pricey competition.

Avatar 2x12 loaded with Eminence drivers can get pretty loud with great bass response. Definitely look out for something ported if you want a volume increase. Maybe a used 1x15 or 1x18 Peavey with a Black Widow?

Avatar 212 Neo is awesome. Dang light, and loud.

Bag End S15-D is another gnar cab, too. A bit heavy, but super small and it fuckin' POUNDS.

Well I picked up a super-fucking-goddamn loud-ass Ampeg PR-410HLF for 350 used, but it also weighs around 130 lbs.

I'd recommend an Avatar (neo or ceramic) for small, loud, and cheap though. I've had my neo 210 for years now, and it's still a fantastic little powerhouse when pared with my GK 700.

Dietz. If you can find a Dietz 1x15, immediately buy it. Got mine for cheap from a bro, and they're abnormally loud.

Aside from that, Avatar.
