I love Gibson acoustics. I play a J-200 Studio myself, which had been my dream acoustic guitar for years. Definitely my favored acoustic guitar brand and sound. I don't have a proper picture but you can see it on this one :
What's the exact model of the one you're looking at ? Looks to me like it's one of the much more modern Canadian made Gibson acoustics (Songmaker ?) that were actually pretty good, as far as I remember, leaning towards the Songwriter sound family though, not as close to the classic Js, C&W or Hummingbirds as one might hope.

Do it just to spite the govt and their hatred of Gibson... Also Gibson makes sweet big sounding acoustics and they are hella easy to record...

played two gibsons (acoustics are quite rare here), one was amazing, the second one was a piece of shit
i've experienced better value and steadier quality in Normans and Seagulls, but they ARE different and if you're going for the Gibson on purpose and if you find a good one - congrats
