Anyone have one on here or played one?
Seen they had a few lefty models which is completely unlike Gibson, in the past year or two they've been making a few lefty basses here and there which is good.
They look pretty cool/ sound pretty cool on demos.....
I hate those ugly Grover tuners though...

I'm interested.

I saw the title and HRRRRNNNNNNNNNNNGGGG
Then I saw the pic and GGGGgggggggwut.
Surprisingly not too shabby although I'm disappointed in the lack of mudbuckers.
They did get rid of the stupid 3-point bridge though.

Oh man, those look awesome. Kinda disappointed that they didn't offer a short scale option, though.

To me they sort of give off a P Bass look...
Like Gibson's take on a P bass. I don't know.
The demos sound cool. The fact that its available in lefty and a Gibson bass had my attention from the get go, there's no Gibson bass I wouldn't play. All you right handed friggers are lucky, if I were a righty I would have an RD Artist, Ripper, non reverse T - Bird etc by now.

Mudbuckers would be killer in this. Agreed.

I'm not digging the look. The body is okay although I think the cut on the bottom (or top?) is a little too much. The pick guard looks stupid, in my opinion. It looks like they had a model of the bass, left it in a hot car and it got all warped, and then they decided to go with it. Thumbs up for Gibson offering new models though, but I just can't get behind this. They look like they're made by a company that makes cheap basses.
That said, +1 to mudbuckers and +1 to that natural finish

they look a little too fender-y or something. I'll take an sg bass any day of the week though

I'm not a fan of Gibsons that stray too close to Fender territory. And you're right, the tuners look out of place on a Gibby.

If the one on the right had black pickguard and some different tuners, I'd hit it.

Haha, funny you say that...
I thought the same thing! some 70's style gibson tuners, and a black pickguard.
