Seen they had a few lefty models which is completely unlike Gibson, in the past year or two they've been making a few lefty basses here and there which is good.
They look pretty cool/ sound pretty cool on demos.....
Oh wow Ibanez sure has some nice looking... wait? that isn't a Ibanez? what the fuck? this is just wrong! those should have a Ibanez head thingy on them
To me they sort of give off a P Bass look... Like Gibson's take on a P bass. I don't know. The demos sound cool. The fact that its available in lefty and a Gibson bass had my attention from the get go, there's no Gibson bass I wouldn't play. All you right handed friggers are lucky, if I were a righty I would have an RD Artist, Ripper, non reverse T - Bird etc by now.
I'm not digging the look. The body is okay although I think the cut on the bottom (or top?) is a little too much. The pick guard looks stupid, in my opinion. It looks like they had a model of the bass, left it in a hot car and it got all warped, and then they decided to go with it. Thumbs up for Gibson offering new models though, but I just can't get behind this. They look like they're made by a company that makes cheap basses.
That said, +1 to mudbuckers and +1 to that natural finish
