Cosmichorus vs. Sea Machine

Post by Butch1970 »

Not a "which one is better" query at all. I added a Sea Machine to the stable not too long ago. It definitely does things that my Choralflange can't.

What I'd like to hear about are the things that the Sea Machine can do that the Cosmichorus can't, and vice-versa. I'm thinking that if I pick up a Cosmi V3, it might be able to replace the Sea Machine, but maybe not? Never had the chance to try one and would prefer to have only 2 (or 1) chorus pedals on hand.

cosmi V3 is stereo, so thats a bunch of new stuff right there. Cosmi gets really insane and detuned sounding, a lot like the lo fi junky. I can get the same tones out of each other with some tewaking. Ive never tried the EQD though to be honest so im not real fammiliar other than demos. Sounds like the sea machine gets a spring reverby sound i dont get with the cosmi. the wave features on the sea machine are cool and you dont get that with the cosmi really. both seem good of course. Buy the cosmi and run both!
