NEW! Concert features original music made from seismographic readings of active volcanoes
New dances by Jason Garcia Ignacio and Paul Gordon Emerson for Carbon will be set to melodies created out of seismic data recorded from three volcanoes. In a synergy between art and science, CityDance is collaborating with Cambridge-based DANTE (Delivery of Advanced Network Technology to Europe) to create these musical scores using the process of "volcano sonification."
