Anybody spent some special time with a Kauer Daylighter?

Post by ALLisNOISE »

Hey guys,
I'm thinking about getting a secondhand Kauer Daylighter Express.
The guy has it listed for $1350, but I think I want to offer a grand, just to see.
All in all it looks cool, and I want it, but since I can't play it before hand, it makes me hesitant.
Any clips I've found have been the typical demo stuff, but I want to know how it'd handle weirdo tunings and dissonant chording.
So, what do you guys think?

They are really well built and beat the pants off of anything in the $1k range. I didnt like it because it just felt.....like it wasnt me. If you can get it for 1k do it all day and dont look back.

Thanks!
I sent off the offer. Hope he takes it.
From everything I've read, $1350 sounds like a good price, but the cheaper the better.
I had originally saved up for 335, but this guy caught my eye and I can't shake it!

FYI, Wichita Guitar Works is blowing out their Kauer stuff for like $1000 below list...which is still pricey, but much more affordable in case anyone has been Jonesing.

Good deals on ILF: too many to list, just ask!
