Re: Howard the Duck
I can't understand how they went from the cute donald duck esque character from the comic books to the monstrosity seen in the movie.

+27! I loved that movie when I was a kid. Kind of the same way I loved Buckaroo Banzai.
When the posessed scientist plugged his alien tongue into the 18 wheeler's cigarette lighter to charge himself, it freaked me the heck out. And Tim Robbins as the geeky science buddy? Genius!

Re: Howard the Duck
And Yet Lea Thompson went on to have a real career and her own sitcom with occasional references to Howard the Duck and a couple of her other less than stellar vehicles.
Clowns and Mascots freak me out.
I also liked 'Buckaroo Bonsai', but I'll also stay up to watch 'Hell Comes to Frog Town' in the middle of the night.
