The prohibition of marijuana has little to do with health. It has more to do with class warfare.

The main problem I see with pot is gauging someone's sobriety. The effects are so varied for people, how can you do a roadside sobriety test, or establish a legal limit?

I hope osmeone figure sthat out, casue i like to get hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh.

The ONLY reason pot is illegal is because hemp makes a better, stronger, longer lasting and cheaper fabric than cotton. They are the ones that need to be addressed, not the anti drug people.

I've never smoked anything, but I still think legalizing marijuana is an alright idea. I hate weed in some ways though. At a concert these kids were really digging us, and in between songs they were like "where do you get your weed?!!" As if I need weed to have fucking talent.

Its just everytime in high school, if I talked to a stoner, they had this attitude. It was super condescending, as if I couldn't comprehend what drugs did for them. Yet everyone thought I was a stoner, and people that knew I wasn't... wanted to get me high. I just got this uber strong feeling that if I lit up, I'd have become one of those kids.

I could discuss all day long.... so I'll stop here.

I also had a reputation for a stoner, regardless of the fact that I never smoked in high school, and maybe 8 or 10 times since then. 8 years? ugh, i feel old. It had been at least 2 years... and then someone brougth the Magic Apple out poolside on vacation...

I like to smoke grass and hash. Not everday but I always got a stash for when the timing is right. Does not take away from attending work or time with family. On days off when the kiddies are tucked away sleeping, I'll fire up. I work straight nightshift so I'm a nighthawk by nature so I have a little bonfire in the backyard, a beer/caeser and a puff. I smoked heavily through high school and the early adult years but usage is now tempered by responsibility of family life. Experimented with some harder stuff but it was not for me. In Canada I see decriminalizing it in the future. Seldom is anyone put away for pot. Even first time grow op convictions seldom see time here.

I have no problem with weed. It's not any worse than alcohol,or anything else people like to take.It definitely has more pros than cons.If having the munchies and being sleepy is a con.I've never tried it but I'm kinda looking forward to maybe having an experience with it this summer,be it through a firecracker/leary biscuit or smoke.I don't see a point in not legalizing it,the only way its hurting anyone is through innocent people being sent to prison, and through the drug war out on the streets do to it being illegal.

Yeah thats a good point, paying for these people to be taken care of in prison is rather ridiculous.

If there is such a problem with marijuana out on the streets I don't see why they, the government, don't just go after the supplier instead of the user.
