ELEMENTS ON BASS

Post by ChetMagongalo »

IT SOUNDS SO GOD DAMN GOOD.
There's so many good and different tones to be had. The shaping is unreal, there's plenty of low end, the finish is beautiful, build quality is awesome, I love the soft switch and the toggles, the design is so great.
Completely lives up to all the hype.
Also loving my tremolessence :yay: :yay: :yay:

The only thing I don't like is that the input and power jacks on the top of the pedal are just a tad too close to each other. My cables just barely don't really fit next to each other :erm:

Hell yeah! I've been using my Elements on bass with my new band, and it rips. Elements on the bass rig, and Frazz Dazzler/RRR on the guitar rig. Doesn't get any better within one band. Haha

Aww shucks, thanks guys! I love hearing that it works well for bass players, makes my day! I hear you about the top jacks too.. if you look inside the box you'll see they fit exactly how they have to fit, no wasted space, but I do agree that they're sometimes a bit of a compromise. I don't get a lot of complaints about top jacks though, and in my opinion they rule very hard. You using pancakers?

I do like having the top mounted jacks! and yeah they're pancakes, the normal style fit well but they're harder to get out of the way.
Some things I've noted, I think the the Elements sounds best with the mix all the way on the right, and I like having the mids boosted with the freq. in the middle position. then I move everything else around for preference.

Edit: with the mix all the way clockwise, I've found this pedal to be equally as great on guitar

I've recently obtained an Elements for my bass playing and good god is it awesome. It does everything, and has a blend. Pretty awesome.

I can easily see it replacing pretty much every non-gated dirt on my board.

This is why I own two Elements. SOOOOOOOOOOO good on bass. One I use as more of an OD, the other I use as a sweeping heavy distortion. Expression pedal controls on this sucker are awesome! Absolutely my favorite pedal ever. If I had to chose one, it'd be The Elements. Plus Ryan rules too.
