Gibson SB-400 anyone?
I posted a thread like this in the gear section but just realized I probably should have put it here. Anyway, anyone able to give me their opinion on it if they've tried it? I found a decent priced one from 1970 and I'm having a hard time not wanting it. I like to have a good bite to the bass sound, would this get me there?

I don't know off hand about their sound... but here is some stuff I know.. they had a maple body and neck, the neck joint is a smaller mortis type connection used at the time [I have a body for the guitar version kicking around..] so my guess it is would sound somewhere between a ripper and a rick... maybe... that's all I got..
