So yesterday I got a sweet lil package with a new (to me) guitar, the infamous MEC telemaster!
I now am the proud owner of the Dirge (skullservant) and MEC telemasters and couldn't be happier. I'm probably going to end up with a different pickup scheme on the MEC TM, but for now it rocks my freakin socks off!!!! Finally got an ultimate pair of live axe's.
On to the gratuitous odd angle pics......
So is anyone else here rocking Telemaster's? If so post em up!!!!

One of these day's I'm going to have a custom walnut stained neck through 27" baritone maple fretboard w/ block inlays one made, But that's a long way off from now...

So I'm thinking of throwing a mean90 I have laying around in the white TM so thatI have p90 neck p/u's in both for similar tonality. But I'm also thinking of relocating the output on the stained one to the usual side port, and contemplating what to put in the hole that will leave on the control plate. Maybe a 3 way toggle with different tone bypass caps, or just a two way for w/ cap and w/o. Thought's? ideas?

That's the ultimate goal, to have two near identical guitars for playing out live. I priced out all the parts to make them pretty much identical except for slightly different pickups and pot values and it would be like 20-30$ in parts. So I'm probably going to go that route.
