I didn't know what to do with my Robot Devil, that I used for bass synth sound, after I got Minibrute. I was on the edge of listing it in classifieds, but before that I wondered what would happen if I put it in the loop of Robot Factory Wormhole.
As a result I spent ~3 hours tweaking knobs and exploring possibilities of this combo. First of all, it's loud. Like LOOOOUUUUD
. Wormhole doesn't have a volume knob and it's kind of pedal that can cause pain if you won't be careful with it. Second, Wormhole is a very aggressive filter and it adds so much character to the octave generator of Robot Devil. And third, this combo provides a lot of sound (albeit pretty much all of them are meant to melt faces), Wormhole is very tweakable and it the volume knob on Robot Devil changes sound a lot.As an example I recorder a riff with the settings of Wormhole as shown on the picture. The only thing I was changing is the volume of octave from Robot Devil, which increases with every two clips. I also flip the footswitch for the octave generator (-1 or -2 octaves) between clips.
