Help with enclosure for the new Zero Point Micro

Post by mathias »

Hey folks,

So I know the excitement about the Madbean baby boards is that you can fit them into a tiny enclosure. But the Zero Point Micro board has a couple potential mods, and you'd only get to do one of them in a 1590A case. So what I'm thinking is that I'll go a bit larger. Here's the current thinking:

* true bypass on/off stomp
* momentary stomp for infinite repeats (I think I can figure out how to get that to work by shorting either one side or the other of the feedback pot to the third lug, which is equivilent to turning the pot all the way up.)
* LED for on/off
* tiny spdt toggle for the modulation on/off
* knobs:
** mix (wet/dry)
** feedback
** time
** modulation rate
** modulation depth

I'm thinking I'll go with the Mammoth 4S125B Enclosure, which is basically a clone of the Hammond 1590N1. These are a little bit bigger than the case zvex uses for the fuzz factory, which also has 5 knobs, so I think I'll be ok if I'm careful with my wiring.

layout would be something like this:

What do you think? Too much to cram into that enclosure?

If you used mini pots from Smallbear you could DEFINITELY fit it all in the enclosure. They are slim profile, tiny as shit, and you could cram them together right next to each other if you needed to

I ordered the 9mm Alpha pots that the Baby build guide recommends. So I think this will work.

Yep, those are the pots! They're really handy for the baby builds
