Eventide iStomp? Sort of?

Hmm.

Comes with a small set of effects, half of which are chorus, but has options for others via in-app purchase.

Curious about pricing.

We'll see how it plays out. I'd bet TC Electronic will do something similar before too long.
In-app purchases make me want to kill.

Yep. Don't like the plug-in model. I don't mind a paid upgrade to a more capable bit of code down the line, but the nickel and dime shit should basically be figured into what the actual up-front price is.

All the same, if the price is right. Been thinking about trying to get a harmonizer in the mix. It sure as hell better cost less than a used H-3000.

I thought of the same thing (iStomp) when I saw it too. I'm mixed on it. At the price I heard, it's too much for me till real world reviews come in.

$500? For single function? No.

I guess I sorta understand that price?
But it just doesn't seem worth it to me

That's a lot of buckies but I'm a tiny bit interested. I don't use much modulation or reverb generally so a small space saver that can do all of them is something I might buy, more room for dirts, filters, delays. Makes me wonder about the second hand market, will the in app purchases be transferable somehow?

Wait, it's $500 PLUS microtransactions for additional models?

FUCK. THE LOT. OF THAT.
