MXR EVH Flanger?
Anyone used one of these before? I recently received one as a gift but I already have a Flanger Hoax, a DOD fx75b, a Boss BF-2 and there is a flanger on the polychorus too. I can't possibly need another flanger, right? I don't even really use all the ones I have that much. The DOD and the Boss mainly end up in feedback loops, I don't use the flanger setting that much on the polychorus and the Hoax gets about a billion sounds.

Re: MXR EVH Flanger?
i had one for a short while. it was a great flanger sound, but...
a) it was 18v. that was one more power supply i had to carry with me
b) there was a volume *Drop* when the effect was engaged. seriously, this is the first time this has ever happened to me with a modulation pedal, most of which goose the output a little bit.
i tried to make it work, but i eventually tossed it in favor of a guyatone, which sounded great and didn't have those problems. i switched back to the standard boss bf2 for a little while, and currently don't have a flanger on my board. i should change that....
the EVH phaser, on the other hand, is definitely still on my board.
