that's a good price!
There were some other Schaller's that were in a grey case and had some different components inside.
I can't remember what they were modeled after, either a Fuzz Face or a Vox Tonebender?

but I know a lot of people who like em'

It's a box of NASTY rad fuzz. 80$ is cheaps for that much rad stoner riff salad fuzz. Though I'm not sure that's exactly the same version I got.

I had the vint. GE version (older, in hammerite box, German texts, made in West Germany in early 70's or late 60's). I dearly regret letting it go. I'm hoping a local builder makes me a clone from his wonderful NOS parts. The problem is, unlike me, he's not cheap.

The fuzz sounds much like a vint. Fuzzface on full pretty much all the time, juts more low end and saturation to the fuzz. It IS a sort of one trick pony BUT what it does, it does very well. Cleans up pretty good on lower settings, too, if it's a feature You like. And it's way loud for a vint. pedal, mine was on par with Dwarfcraft pedals and that's a lot of blast You've got there.

Oh, and one more thing:
