Here, I'll do it for you :picard: But seriously, how can you tell the difference between a turbo rat that originally had the 308 chip and one that was installed? Besides that, is there a huge difference in tone between a modified turbo and an original? I'm looking for an original, but I don't wanna get screwed. Help a brother out.

Nevermind... just ordered one from guitar center that was advertised with an lm308 for $99. I guess I'm covered. I'll have to opening it up when I gets it here.

Beyond the chip, I gather that most of the OP07-chipped MIC Rats have a 2.7 nF tone cap rather than 3.3 nF original value.
