Winding pickups

Post by mathias »

Looks fairly simple, and this guy has built some neat tools to make it easier:

At first I thought the sewing machine was going to be the treadle type and he just kept track of how many times he rocked the treadle, but then I realized it was electric and he showed off the adding machine hack

So cool. I want to try winding my own.

Dude we should just make a guitar collective in the woods. I dunno where. Vermont? They seem like they have a lot of nice woods.

Build amps, pedals, cables, pickups, guitars.. throw black masses at midnight.. that kind of stuff.

I'm sure chanting and bestowing sacrifices to trees before using them in instruments increases the toans like whoah.

I have always wanted to wind pickups
we always had extra winders sitting around at the factory so it wouldn't be that hard I would just need to fabricate something to hold the bobbins
