tascam im2? blue mikey?

the one that gives yer ipod or phone
condenser mics
anyone have one?
or chose not to get one for a certain reason
ive been recording with my ipods 1/8"x1/4" mic for some time
and i get the idea of what i was playin
it just muddies up when the thunder comes

ill take thoughts on that as well
or should i just go with a zoom or somethin?
im not very good at interfaces
and as everyones noticed and probly cant stand by now
i do everything with my ipod

Heard good things about the Tascam...haven't used one but a buddy recorded my band with one at a show once...haven't heard it but we talked about the mic and he says it is pretty full range and great for doing live recordings.

My bandmate has one of the tascams that look like a taser gun
It records shockingly well so I'm assuming the one you've mentioned is probably worth it

I have blue mikey. it works nice to record sketches of harmonium or piano. but you should check out before - if it works with latest models of ipods/pads. i have first generation iPodTouch...

i need a footswitch interface for th ipod
i mean any recording device i end up with
either i have hour long recordings
with 7 min jams seperated by 10 of bullshitting and farting
or i miss the good shit
and stopping playing to press record is a buzz kill
how do you guys deal
i dl'ed audacity to seperate the clips
but im just learning it
and got like 30 hrs to go through
adding 3hrs a week or more isnt helping
so yeah footswitchable or remote control condenser mic
or am i dreamin
