Boss 9v output jacks on LS-2, TU-2, etc.

Post by DannDubbleEwe »

I want to rehouse a Boss LS-2 because I love it's capabilities but HATE it's jack layout. My only problem is the 9v output jack. The regular 9v in has 3 prongs as all power jacks do and is easily changeable to a standard panel mount jack, but the 9 volt out has 5 connections I believe. Any clue where a panel mount equivalent could be had? I checked mouser to no avail, but then again I'm not that skilled at finding weird parts like this. :idk: Can a regular one be used and I just don't realize it?

I'll get some photos of it up ASAP.

I WANT this to happen. I don't want to cut a hole in the side of aluminum....again. And break an enclosure.......again. Lookin like that's the only way!

I did find board mounted equivalents, but it just seems like a switching power jack. The search, she continues!

I'll break out the pump and desolder it tonight to see if that helps visualization.
