tiny expression pedal to use with elements.
Morning chaps
Wondering if anybody can help,
I'm after a tiny expression pedal to work with the elements. Basically I've got knack all space left on my board so have been looking at small box versions.
I've seen the t1m version but have heard bad customer service reports so I'm looking for alternatives
I've seen this one from mission engineering:
http://missionengineering.com/shop/mission-xpb-series/
But I don't know if it has the required 50k resistor.
Does anybody have any other suggestions/recommendations?
Andy

If it's just a pot in a box, take the pot out and replace it with a 50k if it's the wrong value.
You could build one of those yourselve in to an ABS plastic box (or a different sized hammond enclosure, 1590A?) for $10.

I wouldn't buy from t1m. If you don't have a soldering iron anyone on the DIY forum could whip something like that up for you in a heartbeat. If you're in EU I'll do it for ya.

Cheers for the input chaps and gregorroth thanks so much for the kind offer.
After researching All afternoon I came to the conclusion it's probably better to go with a full size pedal off my board so I've ordered a moog ep2. As Ryan says there built solid and they definitely work with the elements.
Thanks again for your input chaps it's much appreciated

If you guys need a pot in a box you can come to me for one too, I'll start making them available... just need to order some cool coloured little boxes. 2 pots in a box? No problem!

Something tells me if you try to ship boxes of pot to customers outside Canada, it may not go so well

I can't tell if you're being serious Ryan, but if you are I might be interested in that too because the only pedal that has me interested in using an expression pedal is the elements.

WTF? I thought The Elements was like the fourth book of the Bible? And you said it contains "The Cleanness", which is exactly what I strive after in this life. Gosh darn it, I thought Dr Sci was my free ticket to the afterlife.

Cheers mate. I couldn't believe the price of it! Only 40 quid delivered! I didn't know they were that cheap! Would have cost me that to get a t1m mini box one, so jobs a good un!

No joke, Brad, I'm gonna order the stuff to make these right away. Just gotta order some small powder coated boxes from Pedals Parts Plus, should be able to make some in a couple/few weeks.
So with these little pot-in-a-box expression boxes, the intention is that you'll use them with your foot, right? So it would be best if they came with the MXR rubber knob donut? Or just the biggest knob possible? Something you can get your foot onto the side of and adjust it?
I'll do the 1590LB (small square) box with one knob and one jack and I'll do the 1590BB (mini-Reverberator box) with 2 pots and 2 jacks or 3 and 3 would probably fit too.

Don't worry, Matt, this is still the case! When you buy, and more importantly, enjoy, a Dr. Scientist pedal, you've entered your soul into a perpetually-binding, non-cancellable, non-transferable, eternal agreement that I get your soul. To put on my pizza. I talk a lot about pepperoni and mushrooms but that's just BS, it's souls, man, souls that go on a pizza!

Re: tiny expression pedal to use with elements.
Yeah I think the MXR style knobs would be best since they have those little spike-y things on them making them easier to turn. I think that would be better than just like the biggest knob possible. Put me down for one, dawg!

If possible, it would be cool to design them so the pot could be either on top or on the side.
