Jimmy Behan FX

Post by Hacken »

Is this Jimmy a good guy? Any experience with his builds?
He is building a bunch of nice fuzzes that got my attention, Ibanez Standard Fuzz and Buzzaround clones.

Not overwhelmingly expensive for custom options and hand built fx.

I've been eyeing his builds for some time. Looks like he does good work. I've no experience with 'em yet.

He's over on the D*A*M forum. You may wanna do some snooping around over there.

He's a good dude and his builds look great. Demos are real nice too. Haven't played any yet, but it's only a matter of time.
Good deals done with all these guys

I had one of his TS808 clones with asymmetrical clipping switch. It cut through nicely. Neat build inside.

I bought it second hand but here in Ireland Jimmy has a reputation for being good to deal with.

I have a Meathead dark clone of his and couldn't be happier with it. Definitely a really well made pedal. Dude is great for getting back on queries and stuff too. Couldn't recommend him more!

I have a combination Buzzaround/Dizzytone pedal that he made for me, it's a great pedal and Jimmy was super to work with. He made some key suggestions and I had the pedal in less than a month. Great price too, I definitely recommend his work.

Hacken, if you get any Jimmy Behan pedals, please post with your impressions of 'em. I'm interested.
