Tried fixing a problem I've had with my Jazzmaster yesterday.
I've had to have the action much higher than I really want to lately, or else the strings touch the other frets when I play in the higher frets.. Making some unwanted noises.
So I tightened the neck maybe 1/4 or a bit less thinking it was the right thing to do.. Everything was more playable, but now I gotta have the bridge so high its ridiculous.
I really am an idiot with these things.. Any tips?
I wanna learn how to do it myself. The Jazzmaster is my favorite guitar, but it never feels just right for more than a month at the time. And Im getting really tired of it.

Forget it!
Two of the neck bolts werent tight enough.
