I really wanted to like this one. I took my time to find a nice enclosure and was lucky enough to find some old transistors on a discarded PCB that had the right 'vibe'.
This one might finally be the Fuzz that ends my search, it's everything I was looking for:
perfectly balanced tone, outrageous, but controllable fuzz, it cleans up really quick when turning down the volume (even faster than a FF) and that leads to a choked broken-speaker-sound.
There's not much variety in the 'Attack' knob, but why should there be - it could only get worse!
I'm excited about every new fuzz I buy or build, but with this one it's different...
I wonder how long that feeling lasts
