Xero at 12v? NO!

Post by goroth »

Taylor, dudes - can I run my Xero at 12v?

I love how it sounds at 9v so this is not a typical "will I get more toanz at more volts" question - I'm redoing my pedal board if I can run it at 12v I can free up some of the other 9v outputs... meh, it's complicated. I don't dare plug it in and see what happens as it has become such an integral pedal for me!

I would not recommend it. There's a regulator inside that might get a little toasty at 12v, so it would be best to run it at 9v.

Ok, thanks Taylor. Will edit the title of the thread just so as to discourage folks from even thinking the thought.
