Really stupid question
So I ordered some wire awhile back and must have ordered the wrong type. I'm looking for straight up standard wiring that is flexible. But I want it to be copper in the middle and not a bunch of strands. Does that makes sense? Anyway, which wiring is it I'm looking for. Everything I've used thus far has been from Radio Shack, which rapes you on price.

Re: Really stupid question
You should order what is called "hook up wire" it's fore breadboarding.

Re: Really stupid question
Is there a particular reason you want solid core?
It's harder to work with and breaks easier. Most stranded wire will stay in place just fine if that's it.

I just found it easier to work with, but am trying the stranded stuff I have now. I'm going to use it anyway. hahaha
Another dumb question. Bought some Chandler cable and plugs. Are there any good instructions online for soldering these. Like what wire goes where?

Re: Really stupid question
Generally, the centermost wire goes to tip, while the outer or sleeve wire goes to ground.
