The temp trade thread

Post by wsas3 »

Don't know if this will work out, but I thought it would be a cool ass idea.
Basically we gather here and post what we have to temp trade, and what we would want to try out from other ilf'ers who are interested in the pedals you'd be willing to part with for a few weeks.. I would say be lenient though, you're not purchasing or permanently trading the pedal, so don't neglect every single offer. On the opposing side, if somebody offers to temp trade you a ds-1 for a faye sing... yeah, you definitely wouldn't be a douche for denying the offer.
So let's hope this works out! :joy:
Although it's mainly up to each individual, I'd say at least have a post count of 300 or a few mentions of yourself in the good trader thread to be a part of this.

I was actually thinking about this the other day. I might be interested in doing some temp trading. I'm always down for trying something new.

What I could part with for a week or two:
Barber LTD
BAT Pharaoh
Blackout Whetstone
Boss DS1 (modded), HM2, MT2 (modded), PH-1r, PW2, SL20
Catalinbread Semaphore, Teaser Stallion, WIIO v.1
Creepy Fingers Doomidrive
EQD Sound Shank
Eventide Pitchfactor
Fender Blender
Ghost Effects Doom Bender
Mooer: Black Secret, Cruncher, Green Mile
Paul C Timmy
VFE Distortion2
WMD Geiger Counter

What I'm interested in trying:
Anything I was already looking to trade for in my SPAM thread (sans guitars, RRR (used to own one))
Phasers: EQD, Empress, INFANEM, BEZFX, etc
Fuzz Faces & Tone Benders, or anything along those lines
Harmonic Percolator (Fredrik Effects, Montgomery Appliances, Barge)
Mad Professor (sans SHOD, MYT, FRF, SWAW)
Dr. Scientist (Cosmichorus, Elements, Ultimate Tremolessence)
Blackout Crystal Dagger, Mantra
Strymon (sans delays, own/owned 'em all)
ILF worthy Chorus (Dr Sci, EQD, etc) and Flangers (Frostbite, etc)
Pigtronix Tremvelope
Moogerfoogers (sans MURF, Ring Mod)
Maybe some Iron Either
Some of that super hyped, cork sniffer jank.
Wahs: Wizard Wah, Dunlop JC-95, etc. Anything fuzz friendly
Univibe style pedals
thick, heavy, brutal fuzzes
Always down for reverbs & delays
Something cool that I haven't already tried/owned....

What I've got:
malekko 616
Dod 490
Ring thing
Muza fd900
Digitech expression factory
Supa chan

What I want to try:
A Fancy filter pedal
A fancy phasor
A gristelizer
Boss slicer
Digitech timebender

I probably can't loan all of these out at the same time, but one at a time would suit me well.

I have been wanting to try the Ring Thing. Let me see what wsas is interested in trying, because I might have a couple you'd like. :snax:

Yeah I thought there was something like this already, although I thought the BST was not that great of a place to do it.

Here's what I have:
ss/bs TAFM
BAT Pharaoh
Boss ODB-3
Fuzzhugger Great Wall RBT
EHX Freeze
TC Electronics Flashback Delay
Mr. Black Supermoon
Boss DD-3
Montreal Assembly CA Ring Mod (with effects loop and super awesome light-eye thingy)
EQD Hummingbird
EQD Grand Orbiter

What I want to try:
MASF Possessed
EQD Sound Shank
INFANEM Faye Sing
Wren and Cuff Pickle Pie B
Any other fuzz that sounds awesome on bass
Any other crazy modulating effects, such as delays with warp functions
Anything that messes with pitch
Other phasers, maybe?

I won't be able to do any temp trades until August 11th, but if anyone's interested you can contact me now so we can set something up.

I like this idea a lot! In fact, I have a couple of things on the way from univalve to try out because he's a cool dude like that. I'm totally down for doing this amongst all the EU/UK people, except unfortunately I won't be able to until mid-september. If this thread has died by then I'll necro the shit out of it, but hopefully more people are interested in doing this. :joy:

EU could most definitely use one!
Everybody cool with just shooting pms and having this be just a thread where we post what we have, or do you think we need a moderator? I think the former will be fine, personally.
