After dirt/modulation but before delay/reverb.

Well ideally I would have it after my oscillating fuzzies and beforey modulation and octavers but I don't like splitting my dirt up.

Solution: Put all the pedals in the feedback loop.

wish i could! ;)

i think my problem is i need to put a compressor or something like it in the loop chain. not too keep the volume down, but to boost the signal power going through it...

i have a digitech grunge pedal and while it does EXACTLY what i want it to, it's a bit too assertive with it's tonal character... and i'd like something a little less metal-esque to push power through the loops...

if boss pedals work well, i might just go with a ds1 and call it good...

:hello: Two, towards the end of the chain. There's Devi BitMangler, Boss bass chorus in there, I'll add the Snarling Dogs wah pedal and a fuzz in there too, soon. Basically, pedals that don't oscillate. Except for the BitMangler that is there just to get even more sounds out of it.

AND - modulation and delay is before these. I think I could use another delay after the fdbkloops :erm:

Mine has all my dirt and modulation in. SO it's tuner - treble boost - feedback loop with fuzzes and phaser in - delay. Works for me.

i used to use it to get feedback on my keyboards and stuff. it was post-fuzz and at the time i was only putting a reverb in the loop. worked like a charm!

I've got a homemade one with most of my board in the loop. The only thing I leave out are my tuner and my Timeline so I can loop the freaky noises that happen.
Whammy, Rat and cheap Flanger are most fun (have a listen here at the end of the track), I'm yet to try my Octave Clang clone in the loop, but that'll be... interesting, I'm sure.

When I used one, I split off of the rack and to a seperate amp.

Honestly, some of the best results I've had with a feedback loop was when I did that.

that was a while ago, though. I actually don't have any of the pedals that were in the loop anymore. Not a single one. Huh.
