I would post this is the mellowtone forums but I don't think it would bring up too much of a response since it's tucked in.
I have the opportunity to get a mellowtone Stamp as well as the Owl amp, just curious how the Stamps sound and if anyone has any info on the Owl, I can't really find much in the mellowtone pages.
Thanks!

I've never heard of the owl, but the stamp is fun. There are only ten or so out there, so there's that. The stamp is kinda similar to that one-watt cricket amp. I don't really use it all that much, sometimes I plug my earphones in it and use it as a practice amp. If you push it you get some overdriven tones out of it, it's way simple.

Oh wow I didn't know there were that few, do you know how it sounds with Bass or synths/keyboards? The owl was a tube amp that Eric made, I don't think it ever went to full production though?

Ohhhhh shit! The Owl! Yeah, that was just something Eric made as a prototype from when he wanted to start building amps. I think it was an Ampeg Jet clone, unless he actually got that Champ done. He posted about it in the mellowtone forum, but I'm too lazy to dig it up. BUY THAT SHIT.
