Bongripper loves your pedals...

Post by ronripper »

Hates everything else.

The guy in the middle there is my extra modded VST Twosome, it's really brought my whole board together, sonically and aesthetically...I mean look at that goat!

I don't have enough good things to say about this pedal. Everyone should just own one. It has so many good tones in it, and it makes existing tones sound even better...and louder.

It's the only pedal I have where I switch settings during a set, because it can just do so much. Throw it in conjunction with the rest of the board, I've got so many tones to utilize I may never leave my house again.

WHAAAAT!!!! OH MAN, THAT IS SO AWESOME!

I've got a VSTwosome that I LOVE! Every time I think I've got it pedal figured out, I come up with another setting I can use. It just does so much, and sounds so damn good.

When it comes to dirt, us guitarists can be fickle and fly-by-night, but man, my VSTwosome hasn't budged from my board, and I swear, it NEVER will! It just ALWAYS does EVERYTHING I want it to ALL THE TIME!

My ONLY complaint is that I wished it had top mounted jacks to save space on my board. And dammit, you have top mounted jacks (and a killer paint job)!

The primary tone on Fisting was my RD Artist into a FX doctor Modded Big Box Rat into a Sunn 1200s with Berg NV610. I used my twosome (fix'd side) for the extra heavy part in the end of the song.

The mods on mine are just layout and graphics. Vertical layout, top mounted jacks, also the VST mod. Then Kyle painted the amazing goat on there.

The pedal sounds so damn good already, it didn't need any additional work or mods haha.

Also I just got back from roadburn, which was too awesome to describe. But my twosome got a work out on both our sets, a whole lot of tones in that pedal. I used to have a much bigger pedal board when we recorded some of the songs we played. The twosome covered them quite nicely.

This is unmastered, But I used the twosome in this track. It'll be on a split we're doing with another Chicago band called Hate.

So far it's the only thing I have recorded with it on.

However, if you go to youtube and search "bongripper roadburn" there's a bunch of videos of our sets at the festival, and I'm using the twosome all over the place in those.

Two things.

1. That Twosome is very snazzy.

2. I checked out the Roadburn clips on youtube. You guys are fantastic.

That is all.

Dude, you have to. It was the most fun I've ever had playing music/being at a show. It was pretty much indescribable.
