I thought Ryan hated wahs? Perhaps I'm confusing it for another effect...

I think a phaser would be much cooler, Ryan would probably come up with something that'll blow our minds.

phaser or flanger
or a combo of both would be swell. I'm all about saving space.

I wouldn't mind a Dr. Scientist Compressness.
But I can definitely see a Dr. S Phaser on my board!

Yeah I still feel the same way about wahs... I wahn't be making wahn, ever. They're too annoying sounding for me, I don't wanna put myself through that kinda torment! *neener*
I don't think I'd ever make a compressor either.
I love filters and phasers and flangers though, this is all cool by me bigtime.

Naw, if I made a phaser or flanger you could count on it being a completely separate and powerful creation all its own. I don't do overlap.. that's why there's no Cleanness anymore... no redundancy, no surrender.

That's kind of why I'd love to see you make a wah. I have no use whatsoever for that whacka-whacka-whacka sound either and most wahs just piss me off, but the idea of a foot controlled tone filter that adds something interesting to the party sounds very interesting to me.
Right now the Ibanez Weeping Demon is the only thing I can find that lets me set it to treat a wah more like a vintage synth filter than a wah and it still not exactly what I'm going for on that front.
Still the reason why the world stopped with that one style of foot controlled tone filtering baffles me. The possibilities seem almost endless.
