with footswitchable gain stages so you can have one setting in the awesome clean boost and one in the delicious overdrive range of the gain knob. I find myself wishing it was switchable like an amp since it sounds so damn good

I think, he does not mean two Pedals in one. Just the gain knob, or two, switchable from cleanish to overdrive. Both sounds very good with the fuck od.

Nope! Mine is still in development. I will say that it started out with the same idea as the OP, but it's evolved quite a bit since then.

Hi all, yes Sparklefucker is mine. I actually had a good 45 minute conversation with Brian on the phone when I first wanted to buy mine as I wanted to see firstly if what I wanted could be done, and secondly see how it could be done if possible. Brian was great to talk to and very helpful (and yes, he had a few ideas regarding what to do). I ended up deciding to put a Sparkle Motion in front of the Fuck Overdrive and have that be footswitchable instead of the crackle knob, although iirc another idea Brian threw out there was adding an extra knob on the box to control the gain into one of the later transistor stages. Sparkle Motion does a GREAT job of pushing the Fuck OD a bit heavier, it's kinda like my "distortion" tone. It sticks out great when in a band setting (albeit when I play alone it's not the most usable sound as it can be a bit harsh, even with the hi cut knob). If you guys want more in-depth details feel free to ask about it, a picture is posted in the linked thread and if you have a specific sound you want to hear out of it say the word and I'll try to record sound clips this weekend.
