So. every component in your guitar, amp, or pedal has a tolerance level. This is, little known fact, also known as the MQ, or Mojo Quotient. the looser the tolerance, the more mojo the pedal has. This is why old Big muffs sound so good, it's because they have a high mojo quotient. Carbon Comp resistors have the highest mojo of any part. Bonus mojo points to caps if they're dry.

Do the people at NASA know about this? I heard their recent satellites have really been lacking in fragile upper-atmosphere harmonics.
