i've heard pretty good things about their solid-bodies in the Fender styles, which folks consider to be roughly equivalent to the Rondo Music offerings; i don't know anything about the Les Pauloid or 335-esque types. one thing notable is that the Xavieres have normal Fender neck pocket dimensions, but the Rondos do not, so if you might want to swap necks the Xavieres would be preferable..

I'd say neither. They are hit or miss, some need help, while others don't. My xv910 (335) is pretty rockin'. Didn't have to do anything to it, but I got it second hand. I see they now have basses and acoustics!

Nah, the basses just started happening last month so they've only got simple stuff.
I continuously go back and forth on whether to get one of their jazzmaster copies. The headstock always turns me off, particularly the most recent one. I'm so petty.

I think elwood bought One and cut the headstock to tele shapes. Check out his closet thread (Even if i'm wrong this is one of the greatest threads here and worth looking).
My Xaviere Jazzmaster copy is pretty cool. However, I've played an Xaviere Telecaster that I thought was pretty shitty. It's hit and miss I suppose and their return policy is a pain in the ass I've heard.

Yah, I've seen his jazzy. I'm going through and re-reading that thread now and am now really tempted to cover my bass in pictures of cats.
So, uh, is Elwood someone famous I should recognize or is he just a super cool dude who happens to have a ton of awesome guitars?
