Delay question number two

Post by D-Rainger »

The Photocopier; a digital delay pedal that produces three exact copies of what you play in, all the same level. Possibly in time (1/16ths) with the music, but ducking - so you only hear it after your last note.

It'd be pretty special, don't you think?

Office green, nice formica fake wood finish to the sides. With moving white light hidden away inside...

Ideal for playing along to the intro of Chaka Khan's 'I Feel For You'
(Now I've really got your interest :p ).

This sounds pretty cool. But you should be able to set how long it repeats. I did this with my SMMHazari. It does this repeat that is only do many times and it is equal to the signal fed into it. Then it shuts off. Really cool thing but the SMMH sucks for sound quality IMO.

The repeats should be degraded - like making copies of copies. Maybe some kind of bitcrusher thing.

So like an analog/tape thing? IDK... bitcrushing is cool, but not something totally rare either. You can tweak old delays to get to that bitcrushing point, but get the new lofi from malekko. :idk:

I was thinking of something more like digital degradation. Like the way a picture will pixelate if you make copies of copies.
