I just wanted to check back in and let everyone know that, after owning this pedal for several weeks now, I can say most definitively that the Speaker Cranker flat out CRANKS! We all know what it's like to get a new pedal and get carried away with it. But it's another thing to review it more objectively after using it in multiple contexts. And by this measure, the Speaker Cranker truly is one of the best pedals I own -- and I own LOTS of them!
Rather than trip over myself trying to explain this box of coolness, I'm just going to provide a couple links:

I really cannot imagine anyone who's into dirt pedals not liking this thing. And at the stupid low price it goes for, it's a real no-brainer.
That's all I got, folks. Just passing the good word along to all my fellow gear hounds. ROCK!
Speaker Cranker is still CRANKING!

Re: Speaker Cranker is still CRANKING!
I forgot to mention that I have some pretty expensive boutique pedals, some of them costing more than 3 times as much as the Speaker Cranker. And the Speaker Cranker just flat out smokes 'em! Not many fx are as all-around usable as this one. For me, it's the kind of thing you just leave on all the time, that's how good it sounds.
End of PSA.

No problem, man, I really admire your work! When something as good as the Speaker Cranker comes along I'm happy to spread the word.
And btw, I dig your pedals so much that I'm comfortable purchasing them even before hearing them, that's the kind of confidence I have. The quality of your stuff has never let me down yet, and I'm hard pressed to think of many more manufacturers whom I can say that about.

I've never felt like I wanted/needed another knob on the Cranker.
It is just voiced RIGHT.

You're absolutely right about that, it's totally perfect the way it is. And call me weird, but I have an obsession with single-knobbers, anyway. Whenever I find a great pedal with one control, I'm on it! And I'm even more helpless when it's a cool looking single-knobber with a CHICKEN HEAD KNOB! Awwwww yeeeeaaaaaa! LOL

I am really intrigued by this pedal. The demos sound great and I love that it only has one knob!

I own 2 of 'em now
I just received my 2nd Speaker Cranker in the mail yesterday. I haven't played around with stacking them just yet, but it feels good to have a back-up. Now, no matter what happens, I'll always have 'my tone' on hand and ready to go.
For what it's worth, the other day I chained up several dirt boxes: Lovepedal Les Lius, Lovepedal Eternity Overdrive, Lovepedal OD11, Lovepedal Amp50, Fulltone OCD, Tube Screamer, ZVEX Distortron, and several pricey fuzz boxes (which, granted, are in a different category, but I only gained them into overdrive territory), and the SPEAKER CRANKER came out on top! I suppose the Lovepedal AMP50, would have been a close second, but again, the Speaker Cranker would be my desert island pedal.
You gotta get one, dirt lovers. It really is unique even amongst a slew of other (often pricier) alternatives. Good work, EQD! :-)
