You can just get a sturdy piece of wood and put all your pedals on it.

How many pedals are you talking about?
Do you want a second leval or a wedge shape?

In general a briefcase or any type of case can work, just depends on what you have access too and what you are looking to accomplish.

I usually buy the big rolls of homedepot velcro and just go crazy!

I am actually building one of long plank wood I am salvaging from my old headboard, it's 3/4 inch pine and I plan to add a second step, I found I don't like the way pedals feel on a wedge style board it just feels strange to me.
(setting it up for around 30 pedals I hope)

Easiest thing right there. Can find something to make that around any household.

I actually want to do the same thing, but I want something that looks decent. Even if no one else is going to see it, I like the classy or clean look. I don't have any fucking saws either...GOD! What kind of man am I?!

if u go to lowes or some shit to get your wood, they will cut it for u to your exact spec. if u bring in your own wood, they may even cut if for you if u talk to the right person.

this is what i did, then I painted/decorated the wood and slapped rows of velcro on it....was like <$20 in total I think.

Yeah, the gorm one is popular. Cheap and easy to repurpose.
I've read some posts where the people grab a couple wood pallets from behind stores or whatever and rearrange those to make their boards.
I use an ammo crate with some tiny modifications.

I'm trying to devise an easy Bedroomboards rip-off, myself. I prefee the idea of keeping things easy and Velcro-free.

If you go to a bargain home-goods store you can get a decent size bamboo cutting board for under $5 to use. Put down some electrical tape or something to line things up, and drill some holes to put ties through. Or, run your patch cables and power through holes in the board, and set the whole thing up on some screwed-in feet you can get at cvs for like $2.
