Akai Headrush looper not working correctly.

Post by nicksteinborn »

I bought a Headrush for cheap knowing that the loop function was fudged up a bit. It currently just kind of sets the loop length randomly. Short loops work fine, but anything longer than a few seconds sort of overlaps itself? When you hit play to set the loop, it'll start playing a later part in the loop and then repeat another part of it.

I've heard of a few of these messing up, but couldn't really find any fixes via the nets. Anyone had any experience with something like this? Should I just rip it apart and spray it down with deoxit? Maybe a bad footswitch? The delay function works fine.
